Colin Rodgerson
My name is Colin Rodgerson and I am a 13 year veteran with the Toronto Fire Department and have over 20 years of multi-sport and personal coaching experience. In addition to being an ACE/IAFF/IAFC Peer Fitness Trainer, I have been a Spinning Instructor for the past 8 years and most recently completed my CrossFit Level 1 Certification.
As a competitive athlete I have achieved personal bests at Ironman Canada 10:50:54, Buffalo Marathon 2:53 and 33:54 for 10km. I have also completed numerous mountain biking events, most notably the Sea2Summit, a multi-day stage adventure race which starts in Vancouver and ends in Whistler. My personal journey in fitness has led me to CrossFit, a strength and conditioning program which has turned fitness into sport.
My experience as a competitive triathlete has given me the belief that anyone with the right instruction and enough motivation can reach their health and fitness goals.
Exercise Philosophy:
Exercise is crucial to our well-being.
It’s never too late in life to start exercising and benefit from it.
Doing a little bit of exercise is better than none at all.
“I have no time” is not an acceptable excuse.
